Songbirds aren't just beautiful to listen to, they're also a class of birds that often have very beautiful feathers. So they're a good subject for nature photography as well.
On this lens you will find calendars and planners devoted to songbirds. In one case you will even get a CD with birdsongs along with the calendar. For the real or aspiring birders among you. To make it all feel more real, I've included a youtube video that also has the sounds of several song (or perching) birds.
